Company Introduction
Formerly known as the Zhejiang Branch of China Silk Corporation established in 1950, Zhejiang CATHAYA International Co., Ltd. underwent reform, restructuring, and business reorganization in 2008 to become Zhejiang CATHAYA Group. It is now a mixed ownership enterprise primarily engaged in silk textile production, combining agriculture, science, industry, and trade, and pursuing both domestic and international markets.

Currently, CATHAYA Group boasts over 70 external investment enterprises, nearly ten thousand employees, an annual sales revenue surpassing 10 billion Chinese yuan, and a total import and export volume nearing 1 billion US dollars. It stands as a leading enterprise in China's export of silk products, a member of the China's Top 500 Foreign Trade Enterprises and the China's Top 500 Service Enterprises, as well as the initiating and chairing unit of the International Silk Union (ISU).

Adhering to the principles of technological innovation, green environmental protection, and sustainable development, CATHAYA Group has a strong foundation in the silk industry, having planned and established comprehensive industrial chains for silk textile and sericulture biotechnology. These chains span the core sectors of mulberry planting, silkworm breeding, reeling, weaving, dyeing and printing, garment processing, international trade, research and education, and testing.
